I'm a regular at AW. It's not completely changed but they do have more than one g/g shoot/week now, which is cool. I'm not sure what you mean by previews, but there is a newsletter every week that goes into detail about what is up and coming. I'd post it here but attachment limits are a measly 4 MB.

I am not really sure but I think that this company ( Abby ) was sold to a bigger video company or some investor took over and it's going to be more commercial.
Good for them, who cares ? |

I've never belonged to their webstie but the last few DVDs I've seen mostly feature bad camerawork and editing with way too much fingering and not enough foreplay. If you go to the website and look at the sample vid under Girl-Girl Makeout, instead of girls making out, it features - big surprise here - fingering! Point proven. |

Are you saying you want the girls to be told what to do in their sex scenes? I wouldn't want that. On the other hand, I totally agree that the camerawork has gone WAY downhill. It seems to be consistent with their gradual shift towards a raunchier image. The camerawork now focuses on endless closeups, especially of genitals, and the editing is also bad with too many ill-advised shots and too many cuts.

Yes, I wouldn't mind if they were given some basic direction. Nothing wrong with fingering, but there is way to much focus on it. There's little I find more uninteresting in lesbian porn than watching a long closeup of fingering. It's different if they happen to be doing it while kissing and there isn't a long close-up of it. |

I agree with Lotus....you have to give them some basic direction. |

Kinesis, you have been reading too many posts from the g/g "directors" of this forum, I guess.
Of course the directors have to tell the performers what to do and how and when to do it. !!!!
That's why they are called directors because they DIRECT. However, this criteria doesn't apply to g/g movies.
Why ?...Because 99.9 % of g/g video makers don't have a clue.
And that is why most g/g videos are so bad.
Very simple isn't ? |

I don't think AbbyWinters.com really fancy themselves as 'directors'.

Really? I wonder how people have sex in their personal lives, with no director to tell them exactly what to do?? I'm so confused.
If you , and maybe Lotus too, prefer fake scenes which are choreographed to the minute, then that's fine. That just means Abbywinters' productions are probably not up your alley and you should look elsewhere. It doesn't mean they're doing things WRONG; they're just going after a different market. |
