As of November 2004, here is the list of where we CANNOT ship to:

Africa (only South Africa and Gabon are OK)
China
Germany
Italy
Malaysia (only Kuala Lumpur is OK)
Mexico
Middle East, including Israel
Singapore
North & South Korea
USA: Oklahoma & Utah (no adult titles, R-rated and Unrated are OK)
Vietnam

This is due to Customs rules in these specific countries/territories.

Sorry but NO exceptions please!

Why not Mexico? I receive ordinarily several adult DVD's from US and from all other the world and never had a problem, just with you... (No offense). When I ordered a film, you told that it was impossible to send it here. So I tried another page and they sent it to me in 13 days!!! To buy your stuff I usually order to send them to my friend in US and they bring them to Mexico or a visit them..., but it takes longer.

I think you can figure out how can we receive your wonderful materials here in Mexico. But one thing I can tell you: it doesn't exist such mexican custom rule prohibiting those deliveries.

P.S. Love your page!!!!

Well, i can give you the reason for Germany, which i assume should be at least similar (and just as silly) in other countries...

We can't receive adult related material (not only adult movies, but also anything that is not rated for all ages, including comics, books, even CD's which have the parental advisory sticker...), because there is a law which requires the seller to make sure that those they sell to are confirmed adults. Now in Germany that means a face to face transaction (or a very complicated and localized age identification system). And because they can't make sure over the postal way, Germany has laid down a general ban on everything with an age limit. Customs pick out shipments and if you are lucky you will get it anyway (if it's not too offending material, like S&M, scat or the like)... Most often though they just keep it without reimbursing you.

The law is basically very silly because usually you need a credit card to order over the internet, right ? So you must be 18 anyway... and even if you use your dad's card, the delivery person needs to get a signature from you, and can then see if you are 18... but noooo, the land of beaurocracy personified won't make it that easy...

Ah well... at least from Mexico you can just hop the border if you want to... here in Germany we have to hope some video store gets the movies, or just cross our fingers and hope for no customs intervention

Rei Lily: Interesting about Germany. I didn´t know that... My question is what happens if you buy stuff from Viv thomas for example. If the customs keep your package my guess they are breaking EEC-regulations for the free market (since they are preventing free trade). I don´t think it would hold in court.

But that´s just my guess.

So the Germans, in order to prevent non adults from ordering and watching adult movies, prefer to keep the stuff without reimbursing you? That's robbery! Mein Gott!

Myth, i can only speak as far as i understand german law, and i admit that is very sparse...

Customs can pick out ANY package here for routine scrutiny. They can take anything they deem check-worthy if they think there might be questionable content (adult video company for example). If their suspicion is confirmed they then can keep the package as evidence, since it's illegal to import adult movies. However here is the catch...

Since you do not own the movies until you get them, and the sender (company or not) might not act against laws (in their countries mail order adult movies may be okay) they can't press charges. They CAN however keep the "evidence".

So all in all it IS kinda arbitrary and seems rather silly at times.

As i said that is how it was explained to me and it does not make any sense to me even... technically the problem is only for professional companies to send you the movies as they break a law here (but not in their own country). Private persons are not subject to it, since they do not sell these movies...
