One lot is pure evil, the other lot is cowardly...and We the People...fucked.
Could not have said it better myself ! Someone on the radio ( much better medium then TV ) suggested Trump run as an independent in 2020. Get his 40 percent and let the Republicrats split the other 60 ...And get re-elected. It's apparent to anyone who voted for Mr. Trump that either the courts or the REPUBLICANS have stood in his way on border wall immigration healthcare and now McComical and the gang of 50 crooked senators will be standing in the way of tax relief.
The swamp is teeming with Crocodiles...and many of them have (R) after their names....somehow, we have to shake the tree or this opportunity known as the Trump presidency will be wasted...we can't allow that to happen.
Back in September, robert0259, on the page before this one, described John McCain as being a "RINO Scumbag".But McCain had originally started stoking the anger of Republicans like robert, because the Senator had somehow picked up the nasty habit of occasionally being a maverick who would stun fellow Republicans, by actually daring to speak truth to power regarding harmful things for America that the GOP's top leadership favored. And a really glaring example of that was McCain having gotten up on the floor of the U.S. Senate to tell his fellow Republicans that it was insane to pass the Bush tax cuts while launching into the war in Iraq. As McCain so accurately stated, wars need to be paid for, so the proper course of action would have been to pass a war tax to cover the huge cost of America invading & occupying Iraq. But that patriotic act would have angered some greedy political contributors who were absolutely demanding that the Republicans reward those WHO BRIBE THEM. Anyhow, just for telling such an obvious truth, McCain was basically told, in so many words, by fellow Republicans, to shut up and sit down, since, to many GOP pols, rewarding their rich political donors with a nice fat tax cut IS ALWAYS much more important than what's good for the country. And invading Iraq and occupying it, was to become so incredibly costly, that less than halfway through America's NINE YEAR involvement there, financial experts said that the war's cost was greater than an average of 1 million dollars for every single one of the hundred and fifty thousand American troops who were deployed to Iraq. And obviously, each soldier's salary was one very tiny fraction of the million buck average per year, that it cost taxpayers for every soldier who was sent to Iraq. And when George W Bush was launching his war, John McCain was aware of just how ridiculously expensive that America's involvement in Iraq was likely to get.In fact, non-political economists have pointed out that a lot of the increasing national debt that accrued after 2008, which Republicans always blame on Obama, was actually due to continuing war costs of a FEW BILLION DOLLARS PER WEEK, in combination with the debt causing Bush tax cuts continuing, although President Obama had wanted to let them expire as they had been originally scheduled to do by the original Republican supported legislation that had created those tax cuts.In December of 2010, when the Bush tax cuts were soon to expire, though Obama wanted to let them expire, the Republicans of the Senate, though still in the minority back then, made it clear to President Obama that if he didn't support a bill to extend the Bush tax cuts, then the GOP members of the U.S. Senate would use their filibuster power to bring the government to a screeching halt. Because even a minority party, if it's determined to use the filibuster to the full extent possible, can stop even the most needed spending appropriations from passing. So with that type of gun to his head, and even over the objections of liberals of his own party, President Obama, on December 17th 2010 signed a bill extending the Bush tax cuts which were to go on to add hundreds of billions more to the national debt. (Yes, at the time, you could almost hear wealthy political donors cheering across America, for the continuation of their tax cut, even though they knew that it would plunge America even further into debt. (Those folks, unfortunately, aren't very patriotic.)Yup, it was really too bad that Senator McCain was scorned by fellow Republicans, for telling the truth, in the first place, that it was DEFINITELY INSANE to pass a large tax cut while starting a war. Words truer than that just aren't spoken in DC, and such honesty will certainly never come from our current GOP President. Anyhow, let me steal Jack Nicholson's line from "A Few Good Men" to explain that McCain having been told to shut up about a tax cut being reckless, was good evidence that Republicans, like robert0259, really "CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!". (Or, they just don't have any desire to handle the truth)Anyway, how pathetic and sad it really is, that a man who called John McCain a "RINO Scumbag" isn't aware that he doesn't even possess enough true patriotism to make him worthy of the task of hand washing John McCain's dirty underwear. And that's a fact. And certainly, John McCain sacrificed more for his country, than 99.5% of all of the Republican and Democrat politicians ever have. So it's a shame that those who attack Senator McCain don't even realize that they don't possess a fraction of his patriotism. McCain Is Now Showing Some Genuine Class, By Saying That He DOESN'T WANT That Unethical Cretin, Who Is Our 45th President, To Contaminate McCain's Funeral With DONALD'S DISGRACEFUL PRESENCE! You must have been suffering a temporary mental lapse, robert0259, when you accidentally defined a true American patriot, John McCain, as a fucking jerkoff, when you actually meant to aim that description at the worthless and unpatriotic American who you see in the mirror when you shave. But apparently, you even managing to come up with that "clever" description: "fucking jerkoff", must have required the absolute maximum of your brain power! Years before McCain ever went to Washington, he absolutely demonstrated, over a period of years of suffering, the kind of thoroughly patriotic stuff that he's made of.Someone on this thread was ignorant enough to say that McCain's father was a general. No, actually, McCain's father was one of the top admirals of the U.S. Navy, while his son, a Navy flier, was being held by the North Vietnamese Communists. And the North Vietnamese, in an obvious attempt to destroy the spirit and unity of the Americans who they held captive, offered McCain an early release from the hell hole which was the little cage containing him, because the Communists knew that the other Americans would likely think that McCain was being favored with an early release, because his father was a Navy big shot.So John McCain screwed up that North Vietnamese plan by turning down that release, which brought him more years of captivity, and many, many beatings from the Communists, who retaliated against him for rejecting their release offer. And those scores of beatings, which McCain suffered during his YEARS of being a prisoner, explain why the man only has the use of 1 arm. How many of the people on this thread would ever have had the courage to make the move of refusing a release offer, while knowing that move was likely to cause more years of suffering, and even lead to death? Even when McCain was first captured, a journalist who was brought before him, noted that McCain refused to say anything good about the medical treatment that the North Vietnamese wanted him to mention, which they had given to McCain, to handle the severe injuries he had sustained from his plane being shot down, and crashing.Yeah, robert0259, I am sure that you have never made any great sacrifice for your country, or any sacrifice at all, just like your asshole, Trump.Because it's usually people like you who will attack heroes, such as McCain, because you are the kind of cowardly worms, like Trump, who are found under almost every shit covered rock, and are people who only seem to feel good about themselves, when they are attacking people who really are patriotic and heroic.I regret that people who are as ignorant as you, take my mind away from the real reason for LLV existing, which is that lovemaking between pretty women can be absolutely beautiful. Yup, it's too bad robert0259, that you lack having even the faintest idea of what real patriotism is. And the totally self serving Donald Trump, sure never shows any genuine sign of being honestly patriotic, either. McCain served our country...I'll give him that...I just don't see how that gives him a pass for being a douchebag Senator... why doesn't he just go over to the democratic party?....at the end of the day...I can't stand phony republicans like McCain and the Bushes as much as I hate the Clintons...the swamp in Washington needs draining...and unfortunately It's beyond the power of Trump to do it by himself...we don't have a two party system in this country anymore...It's all theatre to pull the wool over our eyes...It's THEM vs. US...and they're winning while we're getting more fucked by the minute.
You have actually caused me to be a little surprised, by your admission that John McCain obviously served his country. But, to me, it is also no mystery why many Republicans dislike McCain. And I thought about this while happening to be thinking about, of all things, playing baseball, when I was young. I remember getting my teammates quite angry at me, because I would not claim that I'd gotten safely onto base, when knowing that I hadn't, even though every one of my teammates was screaming that I'd made it onto base in a close call. Just like in my case, McCain was sometimes considered to be disloyal to his Republican team, because he was willing to point it out, when he saw the official position of his Republican leadership as being the wrong thing to do.And as I pointed out in another post on this page, McCain definitely did the right thing when he took his fellow Republican Senators to task, because he knew that their idea of passing a large Bush tax cut was exactly the wrong thing to be doing when President George W Bush was committing America to a war in Iraq. McCain should be praised as a hero for what he tried to do there, but instead, the kind of Republicans who attack McCain, believe that he should have always marched in MINDLESS LOCK-STEP, with all of the other Republicans. It's obvious that McCain's critics really have no regard for independent thinkers who follow what they personally believe, but instead, people like McCain critics, seem to believe that Republicans who are elected to the U.S. Senate, or to the House, must always fall in line with exactly what party leadership tells them to do.But in spite of that robotic way of thinking by many Americans, I really believe that people like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, would have appreciated the great value of America containing elected officials, like John McCain, who are unafraid to reach their own personal conclusions about what is right.LovesWomenFrenching "It is a rare thing indeed, to ever observe in nature, anything so beautiful, as the sight of 2 pretty women, with one engaged in slowly sucking on the tongue of the other."(email@example.com)
