John Kincaid out of Atlanta has a national show on CBS radio , probably the best national radio sports talk host was commenting on the racial aspects of Steve Wilkes getting fired after one year in Arizona although the Cardinals at 3-13 were horrible, went backwards from the Bruce Arians years of completive teams. True the Cardinals were breaking in a rookie QB and that doesn't help the bottom line.

Vance Joseph was given 2 yrs in Denver couldn't do it. Now look at Hue Jackson in Cleveland who was 3-36-1 before he was shown the door. No the bottom line the Bidwell family that gave Steve Wilkes the job came to the conclusion we got the wrong guy holding the playbook and whistle not over skin color but how do we get Rosen the rookie future QB in gear so we can compete with the high powered Rams the rugged Seahawks and the revamping but still inept 49ers.

Look no further then Marvin Lewis in Cincy, 16 years of mediocrity of playoff winning starved fans before getting fired to know the NFL a majority African American employer driven capitalistic entity $$$$ looks not so much at the color of the coach hired but can that coach win = $$$$.

The race hustlers and victimhood mentality of the " progreessvive left " in this country do hard working successful minority coaches a disservice when they look for clients to prop up in order to take on already torn down windmills.

I say the article below and have to disagree with the implied racism tone of it. Vance Joseph simply was not getting the job done. The Bronco talent is there, but much of the time they seemed to just be going through the motions on those days they decided to show up and play. It was plainly obvious to someone who has watched them play for years and years. Vance had a lot of coaching experience as an assistant, but none as a head coach. I know good and experienced, head coaches in the NFL are hard to come by, but I hope the Broncos can find a decent one.

As far as the other ones, I have no knowledge about them. I think the NFL wants to look good and tries to put square pegs into round holes when it comes to race, but it's not working out.

And naturally the race hustlers do not mention Mike Tomlin, who outside of Bill Belichick and Sean Payton is now the longest tenured active NFL coach (2007).

As coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tomlin has accumulated a 125-66-1 record with 1 Super Bowl Championship, 2 AFC Championships, 6 AFC North Championships, and 8 Playoff Berths.

Proving yet again that if you produce winning results you will have a long career in the NFL (or any other sport for that matter) regardless of what your skin color is.

Kris Richard came to the Cowboys this past season after Pete Carroll let him go as a Seahawks assistant after the 2017 season. Well he has come in as defensive backs coach / assistant defensive coordinator sharing duties with Rod Marinelli. The Cowboys secondary has played excellent the entire season with Byron Jones becoming a Pro Bowler as a top three NFL CB.

Kris Richard an African American and an excellent coach will no doubt become an NFL head coach probably next year with all these cities having openings. He is interviewing in both Miami and the Jets. First things first is the game at hand, Saturday night against those same Seahawks to see if his Cowboy coached secondary can contain Russell Wilson and move on in the tournament.

I would say that the Eagles and Colts are the teams, who are playing with total house money this playoff season.

Even though the Eagles are the defending Super Bowl champions, they come in as underdogs having just qualified for the playoffs due to a late season surge coupled with a Minnesota Vikings collapse, thanks largely to the ineffective play of their 84 million $$$ QB Kurt Cousins.

And then there is the resurgence of the Colts, who finally look to be headed back to the direction where they were in during the first 2-3 years of Andrew Luck's career when they were a viable Super Bowl contender.

When Mariota sat out the Colts game and Blaine Gabbard ( yikes ) had to play QB the Titans were shot....No such luck against Houston. DeSean Watson is ready and waiting , at home.

The Eagles. I don't think they survive this round. Trubisky in his maiden playoff voyage has a really banged up Philly secondary to aim at.

A really compelling matchup has the wily veteran Phillip Rivers and the Chargers to see if they can crack the Ravens swarming defense.

As I stated previously, the Indy Colts are an extremely hot team right now having come all the way back from being buried at 1-5.

Today, they went into Houston and carved through a very good Houston Texans squad in most impressive fashion.

Next up for the Colts is the KC Chiefs. Hard not to think of that historic 2013 game when one thinks of these two teams meeting in the post-season.

Regardless of who wins though, that team should offer a difficult challenge for whomever survives the other bracket en route to AFC Championship Game.

Nice win in Dallas...Uncomfortably close at the end. With Zeke Elliott and that defense a win in either New Orleans or L.A. next week would not surprise.

I think the home teams prevail Sunday. Baltimore & Chicago. And wouldn't a Ravens Patriots game next weekend be an interesting matchup.

So much for the home field advantage with the road teams winning 3 out of the 4 games this weekend.

But next weekend, the stakes get higher and the competition greater with the Chiefs, Patriots, Saints, and Rams now entering the mix.

My Super Bowl pick remains Pats-Saints. But I would not mind whatsoever an underdog story like the Colts continuing their magic carpet ride all the way to Hotlanta.

After the Baltimore melt down John Harbaugh was unequivocally in support of LaMar Jackson as the Ravens QB in the future and said bye bye to Flacco. Say this , Jackson is way too sloppy with the ball and the Chargers defense exposed this. He will have to get much better in the pocket passing the ball as running QB's are a gimmick. At some point Russell Wilson Dak Prescott and the like throw the ball downfield.

In New Orleans the Saints beat Philly 48-7 earlier this year and Sean Payton 4th quarter up 30 plus had Brees slinging it around. These two teams have a mutual dislike.

How does Colts Chargers AFC championship sound. Eagles vs. Cowboys round 3 after these two played twice this year would be interesting. Tough road assignments in the way of these NFC East rivals.
