Were any of these girls g/g only?
If none were g/g-only, and all did b/g too, I would still hesitate to suggest a causal relationship between these tragedies and participation in b/g. But after the tales told by recent "retiree" Eva Lovia it's hard not to wonder.
That said, whether g/g or b/g, many if not most girls who pursue a porn career are likely to have some serious life-satisfaction and happiness issues before they ever take their clothes off for the camera.
(Before snapping back please note the qualifications in that last sentence.)
It's probably because I'm a sexist pig, but I always find the death of a young woman much sadder than a young man, other things being equal.
(There may be some evolutionary biology involved, given that men are more "dispensable" than women when it comes to propagating the species. E.g., if all but one of the men on the emigrants' space ship dies they will still be able to populate the new world, but if all but one woman dies they are finished.)
"and its all due to bullying"
That sounds like nonsense.
My guess is that a much higher proportion of girls (and boys) who go into porn have serious "issues" long before they ever strip and fuck in public.
If there is any other common denominator my money is on drugs.
My heart goes out to them but that kind of simplistic blaming bugs me.
ETA, I know, I should probably be more sympathetic and generous to those girls' industry colleague Ms. Jane; it's a tough biz and a stressful moment.
