|I saw several posters mention the post 'edit' function is broken...and it is, but that's only because the real problem seems to be that the forum can now longer accept HTML tags (which is also why we can't seem to post clickable-able urls, or photo links etc.) The edit function actually still "works"... but crashes when you try re-post the edited version because the edited version contains html tags by default...
Quick explanation -
For instance, say I type a forum post or reply with the following message:
"I LICK LEZLOVE FORUM
BUT IT NEED TOO BE FIXED ASPA!!!"
I realize I have some typos so want to edit my post - so I click "edit post"
I will see the following:
"I LICK LEZLOVE FORUM < br >< br > BUT IT NEED TOO BE FIXED ASPA!!!"
Those "br"s (enclosed by the less than / greater than signs) are they HTML Tags (in this case representing line breaks)
They are what are crashing the posts.
If you delete them you should be able to edit a post without error.
"I LIKE LEZLOVE FORUM
BUT IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP!!!"
