When spell-checking a post, it flagged a couple of words which I tried to add to the Custom list.  On the second one it spit back this error:

Line: 2

Char: 3081

Error: 'getElementByld(...)' is null or not an object

Code: 0

OK, here's a bug -

Every time I try to post a jpg attachment, I get the following error message:

One of the files you have attempted to attach to this post is not a permitted MIME type.

I'm posting from Mac OS X, so perhaps these files don't contain the requisite MIME information inside the file. The files I want to post are simple jpegs, all much less than 4MB, so there should be any inherent problem with posting.

Any getting around this bug?

pgwerner ... give it a try now.  I have just added the different MIME types for jpeg, jpg.

jennifer_lezlove ... we currently don't accept TIFs (Temporary Internet Files),
however all types of JPGs and GIFs will auto thumbnail now .

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but when ever I come to this forum I have to disable my firewall, or else I can't get in. Any way around this? because I don't feel safe on the net while its disabled.

Hi ... it is quite possible your firewall software is "securing" the browser by disabling cookies/javascript.  In theory a firewall should not block access to this forum.  I use McAffee's firewall without any problems.  Let me know if you have further questions.  Anyone else having this problem ?

I think there might be a problem with the search function.  I type in a search string (say, "Laurie Wallace") and it says 28 items are found, which are spreaded over 3 pages.  There's no problem with viewing and accessing the first page (item 1-10); the problem comes when I click "Next 10" to access the second page (item 11-20) -- nothing happens.  When I click "Last" to access the third and last page (item 21-28) -- again nothing happens.

A similiar thing happens with "Member Profile."  If you click on a member name to access a member who has posted more than 10 posts, and click on the link that says "Show all posts from this member," the first 10 show up with no problem, but clicking "Next 10" and nothing happens.

I'm using IE on a PC.
